Jimmy ran the 4x4 in the state track meet on Friday. He did very well, he had the strongest leg of the team. Video to follow.

If you give a mom a cookie,

She's going to want a Frappuccino to go with it.

But before she gets a Frappuccino, she has to find her toddler's sandles.

To find the sandles, she has to venture into the playroom.

When she tries to straighten up the playroom, she finds Daddy's pager, the salad bowl, and an open bag of cereal. She also finds her cell phone.

So she'll yell at her toddler about the cell phone and wake up the baby from his morning nap.

But if she goes in to pick up the baby, the cell phone will ring.

When she answers, it'll be the doctor's office reminding her that she had the toddlers 18 month appointment and the baby's 4 month appointment this morning and would she like to reschedule, say sometime in September?

While she's trying to mentally re-create her calendar, the baby will start to cry.

Then her toddler will run to see what's the matter and find the bag of cereal.

When he finds the bag of cereal, there'll be crumbs all over the playroom.

So the mom will get the vacum from the hall closet and notice that Daddy forgot to buy diapers last night, as she asked.

But she will find her toddler's sandles.

And when she finds the sandles, she'll remember her emergency stash of diapers in the truck.

So she'll wrestle her toddler and her baby into their car seats and drive to the store to buy more diapers and more milk.

While she's buying the milk, she'll remember that she wanted that Frappuccino.

And if she manages to order her Frappuccino without a tantrum or poop episode from either of her kids.....

Then she's going to need another cookie. --Meghan Valentine

This is to all the mother's that read this blog. My Aunt Anne sent me this and it really means a lot to me.

A baby asked God, "They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?" God said, "Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you." The children further inquired, "But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy." God said, "Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy." Again the child asked, "And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?" God said, "Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak." "And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?" God said, "Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.""Who will protect me?" God said, "Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.""But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore." God said, "Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you." At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, "God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name." God said: "You will simply call her, "Mom"

Aiden had his 2 month appointment yesterday and he is growing very well. He is 11lbs 15.5oz and 21 1/2 inch long. So he has gained almost 7lbs from when he left the hospital. This is so good considering he was throwing up so much.
